Summer was a busy time for GreenPortfolio. As we start a new season, we’d like to recap the big events and share some news with our community.
IBM and Columbia select GreenPortfolio for follow-on funding
After completing the Columbia | IBM Launch Accelerator, GreenPortfolio was selected as a winner of follow-on funding. As Silicon NYC points out in their coverage, GreenPortfolio is “revolutionizing the energy sector.”
Dmytro Pokhylko, the Director of Columbia's Lab-to-Market Accelerator Network, was quoted speaking highly of our founders.
“It’s clear that Bonnie and Elizabeth not only have a passion for enabling climate solutions but also the drive and resourcefulness to achieve their vision for GreenPortfolio.”
GreenPortfolio values the continued support of IBM and Columbia. The funding will be used to develop our platform that will help users manage their money while understanding the climate impact of their finances.
Programs with Silicon Valley Bank, Impact America Fund, and Primary Ventures Conclude
Our founders were selected to participate in two programs that recently culminated.
Primary NYC Founders Fellowship, run by Primary Ventures, is a six-month part-time program that is driven by peer-based learning. While the fellowship is still ongoing, the 8-week intensive that focused on key elements of startup strategy and vision just concluded. Our founders are eager to build relationships with other founders as the program continues.
